Frustration at Ikorodu INEC Office Over Limited Voter Registration Machines
Today, I visited the INEC office in Ikorodu for biometric capture after completing my online registration. To my surprise, hundreds of people were waiting but only one machine was operating. Officials said seven machines were allocated to this office, but six were sent to other locations within Ikorodu. When I asked about the other centers, I was given only village names and registration codes without any addresses or directions. There was no clear explanation why this information was not properly publicized. Why is the Ikorodu office limited to a single machine despite the large turnout? Where exactly are the other BVAS stations? How can residents locate these sites without detailed directions? Has anyone in Ikorodu located these centers or successfully registered at any of the listed locations? Please share your experience so INEC can improve transparency and accessibility.
