Ryan Alebiosu’s Assist Sparks Blackburn’s 3-1 Win Over Sheffield United to Secure Safety

Nigeria international Ryan Alebiosu provided a superb assist as Blackburn Rovers beat Sheffield United 3-1 to guarantee Championship survival. Blacks jumped to a 3-0 half-time lead through a Ryoya Morishita strike and a brace from Yuki Ohashi. Harrison Burrows pulled one back early in the second half, but Blackburn’s defence stood firm. Alebiosu’s set-up for Ohashi was his fifth assist of the season. He ends the campaign with five assists and one goal in 40 appearances, helping Rovers finish eight points clear of the relegation zone with two games to spare.
