Gwarzo Demands Proof from Governor Yusuf on Alleged LG Fund Diversion

Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo has fired back at Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf over claims that Local Government funds were siphoned through his son, Mujahid Aminu Abdussalam. The NDC governorship candidate, who previously served as Kano’s Deputy Governor and Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, says the allegations are baseless and “a total figment of the Governor’s imagination.” His spokesperson, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu, urged Governor Yusuf to present credible and verifiable evidence to substantiate the claims. Gwarzo insists he upheld transparency, accountability and the rule of law throughout his public service career. He remains confident that the truth will prevail and has asked the public to disregard the “unfounded allegations.”
