Insecurity Has Robbed Me of Road Travel—Emeka Ike Urges Government to Act

Veteran Nollywood actor Emeka Ike has appealed to the government and security agencies to intensify efforts against rising insecurity across Nigeria. Speaking to security operatives, he said he once enjoyed road travel but no longer feels safe on the highways due to bandit attacks and kidnappings. “I love road travel, but today I am denied my best form of travel,” he noted. He warned that if the threat is allowed to worsen, it will hurt families and the nation’s future. “Let’s stop these killings and bandits from taking over our country. If insecurity wins, where will we all work?” he asked.
