Parents Charged After Cocaine Found in Child’s Lunchbox at Daycare
Two Pennsylvania parents are facing child endangerment and drug charges after a daycare worker found a small bag of white powder in their daughter’s lunchbox. The substance tested positive for cocaine. A search of the mother’s home uncovered more cocaine, marijuana, cash, drug packaging materials and other paraphernalia. Authorities say the mother is known locally and suspected of supplying cocaine in her community. Both parents were arrested and charged with multiple felonies including child endangerment and conspiracy, as well as misdemeanor drug offenses. They were denied $50,000 bail and are due back in court on June 29.
