Soludo Challenges Fake Pastors: 'Prove Your Miracles at Amaku Teaching Hospital'
At a recent All Knights Day celebration in Awka, Governor Chukwuma Soludo urged self-styled miracle workers to test their claims at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital. He warned that healing the sick in staged church settings is exploitative. Security agencies have begun arresting those labeled as “fake pastors and bishops.” Many detainees are already confessing to fraudulent practices. The governor also announced a ban on megaphones by preachers in markets and public spaces to curb noise pollution. He insisted that services be held only in designated church buildings or open fields. Soludo condemned the promise of “overnight wealth without labor,” saying it undermines moral values and the work ethic of Anambra citizens.
