The Ebonyi State Examination Development Centre has ended years of First School Leaving Certificate delays. Results and certificates are now issued within 30 days thanks to a new digital system and state support. An Education Committee from the State House of Assembly visited the Centre to review its progress. The Registrar highlighted transparent processes, standardised exams and affordable fees under the current administration. Lawmakers praised these reforms for restoring public trust. The Committee also toured Ebonyi State University. The Vice Chancellor reported 13 newly accredited programmes, enhanced infrastructure and growing enrolment. He urged the government to address staff shortages and establish a teaching hospital to further boost the institution’s performance.
