NDC’s Comedy of Errors: Can It Rescue Itself Before Promising to Rescue Nigeria?

For a party promising to deliver Nigeria, the NDC seems more intent on resolving its own feuds. Their leaders spent three hours behind closed doors to “resolve” a clash between Dickson and Obi. A newborn party should show strength, not signal a need for family intervention. From defections and ticket disputes to boundary fights and peace meetings, the NDC looks more like a household at odds than a government-in-waiting. After all, the man who cannot carry his own mat should not boast of lifting a market stall. If the party struggles now, what happens when real campaign battles over zoning and strategy begin? Before talking of national redemption, the NDC must first prove it can survive its own quarrels.

Do you think spending hours behind closed doors shows the NDC's unity or just highlights their internal weaknesses?

It's curious that a party aiming to save Nigeria spends more time quarreling internally than outlining a clear rescue plan.

I'm not convinced three hours of talks necessarily breed strength; perhaps they needed that time to reconcile genuine policy differences.

They should publish a concise action roadmap after internal meetings to restore confidence before launching national rescue promises.
