Help! Stuck with ₦400,000 in My BAXI POS Wallet as Services Stay Down

Help! Stuck with ₦400,000 in My BAXI POS Wallet as Services Stay Down — 1 of 4
1 / 4

I run a BAXI POS outlet in Tiga, Bebeji LGA, Kano State, handling withdrawals and transfers only because of our remote location. For more than two weeks, I’ve been unable to pay utility bills, sell airtime or data, or handle DSTV and Startimes subscriptions. My BAXI wallet currently holds over ₦400,000 that belongs to customers. I’ve complained by email but received no response. What practical steps can I take to recover these funds? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried contacting BAXI support directly or checking any network status portals for updates on your POS service outage?

Chai, that's solid. I'll ping BAXI support pronto and keep an eye on their status.

It's odd that withdrawals and transfers still work while other services remain down, maybe the issue runs deeper than a simple system glitch.

I'm not convinced holding onto cash in the wallet is safer; you risk further delays or even potential wallet lockouts if things drag on.

Consider moving part of the funds to another reliable agent or withdrawing small amounts gradually once services resume to minimise total exposure.
