Klook Withholds ₦683,000 Refund After Cancellation
Good morning Naijaworld, On 03/04/2026, Klook Travel Technology debited $426.79 (₦683,000) from me and then cancelled my booking. For 26 days, they have refused to refund despite over 15 emails. I am an appendicitis survivor and father of three minors; I need these funds for medical bills and daily needs. On 28/04/2026, Klook admitted they owe me money but offered only 50% in credits instead of a cash refund, which I rejected. I have copied EFCC and FCCPC in my communications. My final deadline for a full cash refund of $516.42 (₦826,400) is 11:59pm on 29/04/2026. After that, I will file a petition with EFCC and seek a ₦10 million FCCPC fine. Klook Nigeria Office, please ensure Singapore HQ settles this by tonight or face EFCC action tomorrow. Nigerians, please share to warn others. I will update this thread when the case is resolved or if I proceed with a media briefing.
