PDP and ADC Disown Ibadan Summit, Vow Separate 2027 Presidential Bids

Factions of the PDP, ADC, Accord Party and Labour Party have rejected the Ibadan opposition summit, branding it unauthorised and unrepresentative. The Wike-backed PDP committee accused “impostors” of misleading key opposition figures into endorsing a joint ticket. The Accord Party threatened legal action over the unauthorised use of its name and symbol. Labour Party said its focus remains on internal leadership consolidation ahead of its convention. The APC, meanwhile, condemned Governor Seyi Makinde’s “Operation Wetie” reference at the summit as reckless and a threat to national stability.
