We Have More Electricity Today Than in 2015 and 2023, Presidential Aide Says
On Arise TV on April 16, the President’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication said electricity supply has improved in many parts of the country. He noted that generation and distribution capacity have increased. In the Federal Capital Territory, reliable power is now the norm, although tariff concerns persist. He attributed the gains to legislation that opened doors for state, local and private sector investments in power infrastructure. “Nigerians have more electricity now than in 2015 and 2023,” he said.
