Army Arrests Man Posing as Retired Major-General in Kaduna
The Nigerian Army has arrested a civilian accused of impersonating a retired Major-General in Kaduna State. Troops from Operation FANSAN YAMMA, deployed at the 312 Artillery Regiment’s Strike Force Base in Sabo, took the suspect into custody at around 9:14 a.m. on Thursday. He allegedly posed as retired Maj-Gen MT Ibrahim and is now undergoing preliminary investigation in military custody. Arrangements are being made to hand him over to the appropriate security agencies for further action. Efforts are ongoing to determine how the impersonation took place and whether others were involved.
