Tinubu Praises Wike’s Swift Delivery of 7km Airport Access Road
In Abuja, President Bola Tinubu commended FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for completing a seven-kilometre access road linking communities around the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport. Speaking at the inauguration, Tinubu said no community should be a victim of national development and described the new stretch—from Bill Clinton Drive to Tungan Madaki—with its four-span bridge as an economic corridor that will boost security, ease congestion, and support year-round movement of goods and people. The president noted the project was delivered within 16 months of approval and urged residents to preserve the road and its drainage. He called on government to keep building infrastructure that truly impacts Nigerians. Minister Wike added that the project marks the administration’s third anniversary in office and thanked host communities for their cooperation on youth employment and road demands.
