Stand Against Xenophobia: Justice for Afro-Immigrants Now

Disturbing reports continue to surface showing xenophobic attacks on African immigrants in various parts of the world. These incidents threaten our unity, dignity, and shared identity. NBM of Africa Worldwide unequivocally condemns all forms of xenophobia, discrimination, and violence against African migrants. No one should be dehumanized for seeking safety, opportunity, or a better life. We urge the governments of South Africa, Nigeria, and the African Union to adopt strong diplomatic measures and ensure that any legal matters involving immigrants follow lawful, humane procedures—not mob action or abuse of power. An attack on one African, anywhere, is an attack on all Africans. We stand for African unity, justice, and human dignity. Justice for Afro-immigrants. Due process for all.

Condemning xenophobia is important, but we risk empty slogans if we don't address root causes like government inaction.

Community groups should set up local legal aid clinics and safe shelters for targeted immigrants to offer immediate support.
