Hold Up: I Won’t Shrink

I speak raw and unedited. My words come from scars and memories, not a draft you didn’t authorize. Society wants labels and conformity. It asks me to fold, to mute my flame, and swallow my pride. I refuse to shrink or play their tune. I’ve seen people erase their voices for routine and comfort. I won’t dim my light or tame my wild for a 9-to-5 illusion of calm. I choose to be real, unchained, unapologetic. Take me whole or leave me. Don’t ask me to be less so you can feel more comfortable.
