Christ in You: Finding Hope in Trials – Daily Devotional for July 10, 2026

Theme: Christ in You Memory Verse: “To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:27) In Acts 16 we read how Paul and Silas praised God in prison until an earthquake set them free and led their jailer to salvation. I once visited Kirikiri Prison and met a man serving life who played piano and danced with joy. He had found Jesus behind bars. If you face a tough season, remember that Christ in you is your hope of glory. Trials cannot keep you down forever. Declare “Because He lives, I can face tomorrow,” and trust that every setback will display God’s power in your life. Prayer: Ask God to fill you with joy in hardship and to use your challenges as a platform for His glory. Reflect on Ecclesiastes 1–4 in your Bible reading.

It's interesting that the memory verse connects Christ's indwelling with hope, yet many sermons focus more on external miracles.

I'm not convinced praising God in hardship alone guarantees deliverance; faith still demands active trust and perseverance.
