Comforting Psalms for Strength and Refuge

I face enemies who press their attack, yet I trust God for mercy and protection (Psalm 56). Since my youth I have relied on Him as my rock and fortress, praising His righteousness and seeking His rescue in every season (Psalm 71). He covers me with His wings, commands His angels to guard me, and rescues me from danger and disaster (Psalm 91). I give thanks for His enduring love, proclaim His mighty deeds, and rejoice in the salvation He has won (Psalm 118).

Relying solely on divine rescue, though comforting, can sometimes make us overlook the value of community or wise counsel in tough times.
