Wike Brands Bala Mohammed ‘Inconsistent’ and ‘Dishonest’ Ahead of PDP Convention
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike has accused Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed of shifting positions and lacking consistency. He recalled how Mohammed first sought the PDP national secretary post for his faction, then asked for support for President Tinubu, only to reverse his stance days later. Speaking during an inspection of road and bridge projects in Jahi and Kuje, Abuja, Wike praised the contractors’ work and confirmed the developments will mark the third anniversary of President Tinubu’s administration. He dismissed Mohammed’s claim that his appointment was meant to undermine the PDP as “embarrassing” and “baseless.” Wike warned Nigerians to watch out for politicians who “say one thing today and another tomorrow.” He reaffirmed his commitment to stay in the PDP while maintaining support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a position he said he has held since 2022.
