Sowore Condemns United Nigeria Airlines and NCAA After 11-Hour Flight Delay

Presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has criticised United Nigeria Airlines and the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority over the prolonged delay of a Lagos-Owerri flight. He met passengers who spent over 11 hours at the airport with no clear updates or support. The airline repeatedly shifted departure times without explanation or adequate care. Sowore said the incident exposes a deeper problem in Nigeria’s aviation sector. He urged regulators to enforce standards, improve communication and ensure compensation for stranded travellers.
