Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ: Embracing New Life in Romans 6

Paul challenges the idea that grace should lead to more sin. He reminds us that baptism unites us with Christ’s death and resurrection, breaking sin’s hold on our lives. Our old self was crucified so we no longer serve sin. Instead, we count ourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. We are called to offer every part of ourselves to God as instruments of righteousness. Under grace, sin no longer has mastery over us.
