God’s Call to Holiness Has Not Changed

God is still holy, and He still calls us to holiness. The standard given to the early apostles has not changed: “Be ye holy; for I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16). As children of God, we are called to live in righteousness, reject sin and purify ourselves in the hope of Christ’s return. Jesus was manifested to take away sin and destroy the works of the devil. Let no one deceive us: whoever practises righteousness is righteous. We should also love one another, because a life born of God must reflect His character (1 John 3:2–10). Amen.
