Katsina Police Urges Constable Aspirants to Follow Official Process, Shun Scammers

Katsina Police Urges Constable Aspirants to Follow Official Process, Shun Scammers

The Katsina State Police Command has warned applicants for the upcoming police constable exam to beware of fraudsters. The test is scheduled nationwide from April 28 to 30, with Katsina candidates reporting to Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic on Dutsin-Ma Road. Only those who passed the recent physical and credential screening are eligible. Applicants must print their coloured invitation slips from the official recruitment portal between April 24 and the exam date. On exam day, candidates should bring a valid NIN slip, the printed invitation slip, and a pen. The approved dress code is white shorts, a white T-shirt, and white canvas shoes. The recruitment exercise is entirely free, and anyone found demanding payment will face legal action. Applicants are advised to arrive early, follow their slip schedule, and maintain order throughout the process.

While scams are real, not every intermediary offer is malicious; some helpers genuinely guide applicants through paperwork.
