Ogun Police Promote 430 Officers, Commissioner Emphasizes Professionalism
The Ogun State Police Command has promoted 430 junior officers to boost welfare, morale and professional standards. The exercise saw 420 constables elevated to corporals, four corporals to sergeants and six sergeants to inspectors. Commissioner of Police Bode Ojajuni led decoration ceremonies across the state. He praised the Inspector-General’s focus on career progression and congratulated the beneficiaries for their dedication. Ojajuni said prompt promotions are vital for discipline and motivation. He urged officers to uphold integrity, respect human rights and commit to the rule of law.
