26-Year-Old Indian Graduate Dies After Rare Brain Complication Following US Crash
Nithyanand Reddy Gannu, a 26-year-old Information Systems graduate from Telangana, India, has died after a road accident in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He reportedly suffered multiple injuries, including a serious fracture that required emergency surgery. During treatment, he developed cerebral fat embolism, a rare condition in which fat droplets from a fractured bone enter the bloodstream and affect the brain. Despite medical efforts, he died on July 22. His family and friends are seeking support for hospital expenses not covered by insurance and for repatriating his body to India.
