EACDA Urges Ekinrin-Adde Youths to Embrace Character and Purposeful Living
Elder Deinde Toyin Komolafe, National President of the Ekinrin-Adde Community Development Association, challenged youths to focus on character building and live with purpose at the maiden Ekinrin-Adde Youth Carnival. He warned against drug abuse and negative influences, drawing lessons from Joseph’s story and stressing that the fear of God is the foundation of wisdom. He also advised young people to use positive information and social media tools to advance their goals. The Divisional Police Officer affirmed the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to community safety and urged residents to collaborate with security agencies by reporting criminal activity promptly. Keynote speaker Adewale Victor Adekanye highlighted youth roles in community growth, encouraging them to reject social vices, promote unity through dialogue, and drive development with small, consistent actions like mentoring children and organising clean-up exercises.
