Beyond Criticism: Who Is Your Candidate for 2027?

One of the most revealing questions in political discourse is also the simplest: who is your candidate? Criticism of those in power is necessary in a democracy. Policies must be scrutinised and leaders held accountable. Yet criticism alone is not a political programme. Too often, discussion degrades into endless complaints without naming an alternative. When pressed to identify a candidate, many become evasive. Opposition worthy of power must answer four questions: 1. What would your candidate have done differently? 2. What is their plan for 2027? 3. How will they fund it? 4. Who exactly is your candidate? Anger is not a substitute for leadership.
