Sultan of Sokoto Urges Free and Fair 2027 Elections and Global Peace

The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, has called on all stakeholders to ensure free, fair and transparent elections in 2027. He stressed that a stable Nigeria must exist before it can be effectively governed. He also urged global leaders to de-escalate conflicts, including the Iran–US/Israel crisis.
