Reynolds-Owned Wrexham Reports £15m Loss Amid Record Turnover Surge
Welsh club Wrexham AFC posted an operating loss of £14.84 million in the year to June 2025 after heavy investment in its bid for EFL Championship promotion. Turnover climbed 24% to £33.33 million, up from £26.72 million, driven by on-pitch success, growing global appeal and expanded commercial activity. The club is now debt-free following new backing from minority investors, including Apollo Sports Capital. While a recent documentary boosted its brand, matchday income also rose thanks to a temporary stand at the Racecourse Ground. Plans are in motion to build a new Kop Stand to lift capacity beyond 18,000. On the pitch, Wrexham remain in the hunt for a fourth straight promotion with several games left.
