Gov Abiodun Pledges Empowerment Support for South West Arewa Community

Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has reaffirmed his commitment to empowering the South West Arewa community. He received representatives of the Renewed Hope Agenda for Asiwaju 2027 at his Oke-Mosan office in Abeokuta. The governor commended their peaceful coexistence with host communities and stressed the importance of human capital development. “We will focus on ensuring that we provide human capital development for our Arewa brothers so they will not be used as tools for destruction,” he said. He highlighted the dangers of youth idleness and called for meaningful engagement and opportunities. Abiodun invited the group to collaborate on tailored training programmes that address the community’s specific needs. He praised the group’s leadership role in curbing misinformation and fostering understanding among diverse communities.
