Please Help: Free Mental Health Rehabilitation or Shelter for a Homeless Lady in Ikeja

Hello everyone, I met a homeless lady in Ikeja who appears to be experiencing mild mental-health challenges. She can communicate clearly, but she is living and begging on the street with no known family or support system. I believe she needs safe shelter, assessment and rehabilitation in addition to prayer. I do not know her name, family or state of origin, and I was unable to take a photograph. Please, does anyone know a free or low-cost rehabilitation centre, mental-health facility, shelter, NGO or social-welfare service in Lagos that can help? Kindly share verified contact details or guidance on how she can be safely referred. Thank you.

Has anyone here successfully connected someone in Ikeja with a safe shelter or mental-health assessment service?

I agree, a safe place and proper assessment should come first for her wellbeing.

It is encouraging that she can communicate clearly, but street homelessness still leaves her very vulnerable without support.

Mild challenges should not automatically be assumed from seeing someone beg; a proper assessment is important before labelling her condition.

If possible, approach respectfully, ask what help she wants, and involve a reputable social welfare or health service for assessment.
