Amaechi Refuses to Engage ‘Obidients’, Says Silence Preserves Opposition Unity

Amaechi Refuses to Engage ‘Obidients’, Says Silence Preserves Opposition Unity

Rotimi Amaechi revealed in Lagos that he has been targeted by Peter Obi’s supporters online. He says his team never replies to insults from “Obidients.” Speaking at a town hall organised by his ADC loyalists, he explained that this silence is a deliberate strategy. He wants to keep the opposition united ahead of the next election. Amaechi warned that infighting could hand an easy victory to President Tinubu. He urged all opposition camps to focus on defeating the incumbent instead of exchanging abuses. He also challenged Nigerians to compare his record as governor and minister with those of Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar. He highlighted his hands-on approach and connection to everyday Nigerians.
