Port Harcourt Customs Command Achieves Record N77.3B Revenue in April
A frontline maritime expert and CEO of Odest Global Resources has praised the Port Harcourt Area 11 Customs Command for generating a historic N77.3 billion in April. He credited this achievement to the dedication and professionalism of Comptroller Aliyu Mohammed Alkali, noting that he also posted N76.07 billion in October 2025. From January to April, the command collected over N258 billion and intercepted 17 containers of illicit goods worth more than N2 billion. Strong collaboration between customs officers, bonded terminal operators, and government agencies drove these results. Bonded terminals have eased port congestion, boosted trade facilitation, and contributed to higher revenue at Onne. Odest Global Resources will continue strict compliance and work closely with the command to ensure timely container clearance and customer satisfaction. Port users are urged to follow procedures to support a safer, more efficient maritime corridor.
