The Anambra State Police Command has kicked off its 2026 National Police Day celebrations with a statewide sanitation exercise and free medical outreach. Officers cleaned eight Area Commands and 56 Divisional Headquarters to promote a cleaner, healthier environment. Residents and officers received basic health checks and medical consultations during the outreach. This initiative highlights the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to community health alongside public safety. Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu, PhD, reaffirmed the Command’s focus on community-oriented policing. He urged residents to support the police in maintaining peace and security across the State.
