1 / 2

The Anambra FA Chairman has praised the Nigeria Football Federation for choosing Awka Township Stadium to stage the Federation Cup quarter-final between Barau FC and Ikorodu City FC. Football fans across the state are urged to turn out in large numbers for the clash on Thursday, June 11 at 4pm. The decision follows a well-received match between Nasarawa United and Rivers United in Awka last weekend. Officials say hosting these games will boost grassroots talent development and help engage youth across Anambra. The FA looks forward to working with the state sports ministry to further grow the game.
