Call for Sustainable Electricity in Delta State: An Open Letter to Governor Oborevwori
I write with deep respect and concern for our state. Electricity is the bedrock of progress. In the Osubi–Ugolo axis and across our communities, persistent power outages hamper businesses and limit opportunities. We appreciate your rice distributions and occasional financial support. These efforts show compassion. Yet, our people need more than temporary relief. They need stable power to build sustainable livelihoods. Road improvements in Osubi are commendable. But areas like Ugolo, Agbarho, Udu, Oghara, Ovwian, and Orerokpe remain in darkness. Light brings investment, jobs, dignity, and better schools and clinics. Your administration has resources and a chance to leave a lasting legacy. I urge a focused investment in electricity infrastructure across Okpe Kingdom and all of Delta State. Let there be light for every citizen.
