Nigeria’s U-18 Men Begin Abuja Camp for African Handball Championship

Nigeria’s U-18 men’s handball team has begun camp in Abuja ahead of the 22nd African Cadets Men’s Handball Championship in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. Head coach Abdulhakim Yakubu has invited 23 players for the build-up, with the technical crew focusing on fitness, tactical awareness, technical skills and team cohesion. Ayo Joshua will serve as assistant coach. Nigeria will face Tunisia, Algeria and Madagascar in Group B. The team will be aiming to emerge strongly from a demanding group and make an impact at the continental youth championship.
