The Super Eagles have moved up to 26th in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola Men’s World Rankings, released on 20 July 2026. Nigeria have 1,585.02 points and remain among Africa’s leading football nations. Nigeria sit directly behind Ecuador in 25th place and ahead of Türkiye in 27th. The ranking reflects the team’s recent international results as it prepares for upcoming qualifiers and FIFA competitions. Spain lead the global rankings, followed by Argentina, France, England and Brazil. Morocco are Africa’s highest-ranked side in sixth place worldwide.
