Can Christians Make High Profits Without Exploiting Customers?

Is it wrong for a Christian to make a large profit in business? Profit itself is not sinful. The Bible supports diligence, wise stewardship and earning from honest work. The concern is whether profit comes through greed, deception or exploiting people. Christians in business should price goods and services honestly, give customers fair value and avoid taking advantage of desperation or ignorance. A higher price may be reasonable when transport, rent, taxes, sourcing costs, quality and business risk are considered. For example, selling a ₦10,000 item for ₦15,000 may be fair after legitimate costs. Selling it for ₦50,000 solely because a buyer has no alternative may be ethically questionable. There is no biblical maximum profit margin, but integrity, fairness, quality service and generosity should guide every transaction. Can a business be highly profitable and still honour God? Where should Christians draw the line between a fair margin and exploitation?
