ADC’s Oladimeji Dismisses Obi–Kwankwaso Ticket, Backs Atiku–Obi Alliance

ADC’s Oladimeji Dismisses Obi–Kwankwaso Ticket, Backs Atiku–Obi Alliance

Fabiyi Oladimeji, Deputy National Financial Secretary of the ADC, says a Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso ticket would fall short of the votes needed to challenge the APC in 2027. He pointed to the combined 14–15 million votes from Obi, Kwankwaso and Atiku Abubakar in the last election, noting that only an Atiku/Obi pairing could deliver the numbers needed to win. Oladimeji added that Atiku and Rotimi Amaechi have pledged support to the strongest ticket and urged Peter Obi to make the same commitment, stressing that the goal is to rescue the country rather than serve personal ambition.

What chances do you see for an Atiku–Obi alliance to really challenge the APC come 2027?
