Rival Ndi Eze Faction Led by Sir Okosisi Faces Legitimacy Challenge
Recognised Igbo council leader Eze (Dr) Chika C. Nwokedi rejects a vote of confidence passed by a group reportedly led by Sir Okosisi Ephraim Nnaemeka. He calls the faction illegitimate and demands full disclosure of its membership, structure, and financial records. Nwokedi questions the proper functioning of the 13-member Board of Trustees under Jonathan Nnaji. He alleges many members are inactive or deceased and challenges the group to prove its authority. The Council of Ezendigbo reaffirms its commitment to transparency and unity. It stresses that a valid Ndi Eze council in Lagos has 39 recognised members with a verifiable structure and bank account.
