The Joint Task Force South-South of Operation Delta Safe arrested MT Mkpodu and MT Westaf AF on April 8. Rear Admiral Olugbenga Oladipo announced the operation at Nigerian Navy Ship VICTORY in Calabar. He credited credible intelligence, inter-service cooperation and assets from the Navy and Air Force for the midnight raid in the Calabar/Akwa Ibom operational area.
