AIG Salman-Dogo Garba Retires After Decades of Service, Thanks Tinubu, IGP and Governors
The Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 5 Headquarters, Benin City, Salman-Dogo Garba, has retired from the Nigeria Police Force after several decades of service. His pulling-out parade and send-forth ceremony drew senior police officers, government officials, traditional rulers, and other well-wishers. In his farewell remarks, he thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Inspector-General of Police, the Police Service Commission, and the governors of Edo and Delta states for their support during his career. He also appreciated officers and men of Zone 5, the Edo and Delta State Police Commands, and members of the public for their cooperation. Garba urged officers of the Nigeria Police Force to remain disciplined, professional, and committed to community policing and intelligence-led operations. He also called on Nigerians to continue giving timely information to help improve security and public safety.
