July 23 Morning Brief: ABU Reopens Screening, OOU Deadline Passed & Germany Fellowship

Good morning! Ahmadu Bello University now allows candidates who faced payment issues to complete their screening registration. Direct Entry registration will start once JAMB data is released. Those awaiting O’Level results should wait until results are out. Important deadlines: OOU applications closed on July 22. FUTA and LASUSTECH close July 31. OAU closes August 14. NSUK closes September 30. Post-UTME exams run at UI (July 27–29), UNILAG (July 27–31), UNIBEN (July 27–August 1), and OOU (August 3–7). Scholarship opportunity: The KWI International Fellowship 2026–2027 in Germany offers a six-month research stay with a monthly allowance, office space, library access, travel support, and no application fee or German requirement.
