INEC Launches Final Phase of Continuous Voter Registration
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has opened the third and final phase of its continuous voter registration. The exercise runs from Monday, May 11 to Friday, July 10, 2026. Eligible citizens aged 18 and above who missed earlier phases can register. Registered voters can also transfer their registration, replace lost or damaged Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), or update their biodata by visiting INEC offices or using the commission’s online portal. INEC will display the Register of Voters for claims and objections from Thursday, July 23 to Wednesday, July 29, 2026. The commission says all arrangements are in place and urges every eligible Nigerian to participate and strengthen the foundation of our electoral process.
