Being Called a Christian Is Not the Same as Following Jesus

Calling myself a Christian, attending church, serving in programmes or holding a title does not automatically mean I am following Jesus. Jesus’ call was to follow Him and obey God’s will. Matthew 7:21–23 warns that religious words, miracles and public service are not substitutes for a genuine relationship with Him. The real question is not whether I carry the Christian label, but whether my life reflects Christ’s teachings.
