‘Not Just Akara’: Remi Tinubu Pledges Support for Tomato, Boli and Veg Sellers

The First Lady clarified that her empowerment plan covers more than just akara sellers. Traders who sell tomatoes, bole, pepper and vegetables will also benefit. “I said akara, it’s not only akara,” she explained. “We also have tomato sellers, bole and pepper traders in the market. We will continue to empower them.” She added that those affected will appreciate the support. She said she is not intimidated by misleading reports.
