Dangote Refinery Cuts Petrol to ₦1,250/L and Diesel to ₦1,700/L

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals has announced a fresh reduction in its ex-depot prices for petrol and diesel. Under the latest adjustment, Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) is now priced at ₦1,250 per litre, down from ₦1,275. Automotive Gas Oil (diesel) has been cut to ₦1,700 per litre from ₦1,800. The refinery said the move aims to boost supply efficiency, deepen domestic refining and provide cost relief to consumers and businesses. It comes as global fuel costs surged earlier this year amid supply disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz following tensions in the Middle East.
