Kanyinsola Ajayi Blasts to 9.84s, Becomes Nigeria’s Fastest 100m Sprinter and World Leader

Nigeria’s Kanyinsola Ajayi electrified the NCAA East Regionals with a personal best of 9.84s (+0.7 m/s). He broke Olusoji Fasuba’s 9.85s national record and claimed the 2026 world lead. Ajayi also recorded the second-fastest time in NCAA history and booked his place at the NCAA Championships.
