She recalled how her latest movie was removed from several cinemas and how not a single colleague publicly backed her at that time. Yet they’re quick to flood her with birthday wishes. Jaiye says she’s stopped celebrating others’ birthdays since she no longer expects their good will in return. She also spoke about the heavy financial burden of producing and distributing films, urging people to appreciate what it takes to recover those investments.
